IMPORTANT CHANGES TO THE APPLICATIONS PROCESS FOR THE GENERAL PROFESSIONAL LEARNING AND SKILLS (GPRLS) SCHEME ANNOUNCED. THE SCHEME WILL BE ADMINSTERED BY THE INSTITUTE FOR LEARNING FOLLOWING THE CLOSURE OF STANDARDS VERIFICATION UK ON 31 MARCH 2011. VISIT THE GPRLS HOMEPAGE TO FIND OUT MORE INFORMATION.
All GPRLS applications submitted must now include the processing fee of £449 excluding VAT, as the centrally funded route to GPRLS came to an end at 1700 on Wednesday, 06 October. The processing fee will need to be paid in full at the time of submission, details of payment methods will be announced shortly.
Applications will then be processed and all applicants will be notified of the outcome of their submission within 10 weeks.
Should you be unsuccessful in your original submission, and chose to resubmit your application, a further fee of £349 excluding VAT will need to be paid in full at the time of resubmission.
The appeals process will remain available in the event of a definitive refusal.
