Important changes to application process for General Professional Learning and Skills (GPRLS) scheme
This scheme is now closed. The Institute for Learning (IfL) is supervising the administration of applications already submitted. You will be notified of your outcome on or before Tuesday, 2 August 2011.
IfL is in the process of developing successor arrangements to GPRLS, based on its successful professional formation process. This will enable highly experienced practitioners to demonstrate how they meet the standards for initial teacher training and go beyond this to achieve the full professional status of Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS). Full information on an assessment only route to QTLS will be available at www.ifl.ac.uk later in the year.
