Prior to its closure on 31 March 2011, Standards Verification UK (SVUK) was a wholly-owned subsidiary of Lifelong Learning UK (LLUK), but had its own independent Chair and Board. The SVUK Board oversaw the financial viability of the company and made major policy decisions as to the company’s general activities. LLUK was representedĀ at the SVUK Board (and SVUKĀ at the LLUK Council) and the membership of the SVUK Board reflected the diversity of LLUK’s areas of work.
