Mike Allmond
Mike Allmond is a member of the Standards Verification UK (SVUK) Board, the membership of which reflects the diversity of Lifelong Learning UK (LLUK)'s areas of work.
Following military service, Mike's working life has been spent organising the occupational training of young people in a variety of industries. Currently he is part-time Chairman of ReMIT Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Retail Motor Industry Federation, which trains some 8,000 boys and girls on apprenticeships related to motor vehicles.
Mike is also a Director of the Retail Motor Industry Federation and Chairman of the C&G National Advisory Committee on the Automotive Industry. He is a founder Director of Skillauto, a Director of the Association of Learning Providers and Chairman of the National Providers Sector Group.
